Description
The FB-CDIC-500-3pc cuts a tongue-and-groove joint for cabinet and passage door frame-and-panel construction — a flat-panel door system where the stile and rail members receive tongue or groove edges rather than a decorative cope-and-profile. Profile 500 delivers this through a 3-piece Dedicated insert cutter set: Dedicated head bodies accept only profile 500 inserts, keeping setup consistent and repeatable for shops running flat-panel door programs. The tongue-and-groove approach produces a simple, flat-faced stile-and-rail frame suited to contemporary, Shaker, and slab-style cabinetry where the panel sits flush in the frame without a decorative reveal. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ door stock. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available. For shops also running decorative cope-and-profile door styles, the CDIC cope-and-pattern range (profiles 010–250) covers the full Freeborn profile catalog on compatible head hardware.
