The smallest OD in the Freeborn Pro-Line rub collar series, the 2-1/4″ outside diameter keeps the cutter’s cut circle close to the collar’s running face on the 1-1/4″ bore spindle. That tight tracking relationship suits narrow profiles and inside-edge work where the cutter needs to operate close to the guide surface. Pro-Line tooling typically handles heavier stock and wider profiles than the Mini-Pro system, and the sealed ball-bearing construction on these collars holds up to the higher bearing loads that heavier cutters impose at shaper speed.
