Description

The MH4632 is a 137mm OD, 180mm cut length, 1-13/16 in. bore, 2-pocket corrugated back knife head with 22° hook for metric-specification industrial production moulders. The 180mm knife seat is the extended CEL option in the MH46x 2-pocket series, handling tall architectural panel moulding, large door and frame profiles, and broad decorative furniture millwork where the 150mm MH4622A provides insufficient coverage. At 180mm CEL in a 2-pocket head, knife exposure and knife mass require careful knife grinding, weight matching, and balance verification before operating at production speed. The 22° hook provides chip clearance at extended CEL on the 137mm metric head standard. The MH463 is the 4-pocket equivalent for improved surface finish at this CEL. The MH4642 (230mm) is the maximum CEL in the 2-pocket metric series for the widest profiles. The 1-13/16 in. bore fits the industrial spindle specification for 137mm-class moulder equipment.
