Description
The Schmidt RCCP3310 is a 3-flute compression chipbreaker solid-carbide spiral bit at 3/8″” dia × 3/8″” shank × 1-1/4″” cut, 3″” OAL. Chipbreaker geometry adds serrations along the flute cutting edge that mechanically break chips into shorter segments during the cut — preventing the long, stringy chips that pack the flutes and cause clogging, burning, and bit breakage in deep pocket routing and through-cuts in thick material. Compression geometry cleans both top and bottom faces simultaneously for through-cuts in laminated panels. The combination of chipbreaking and compression spiral geometry makes these bits particularly effective in deep pockets, stacked materials, and multi-pass cuts where chip clearance is the limiting factor rather than surface finish. Use for through-cuts in laminated and veneered sheet goods where both face surfaces must be chip-free. Solid carbide construction for wear resistance and rigidity in production CNC routing. Run at appropriate chip load for the substrate and flute count; chipbreaker geometry allows higher feed rates than standard spirals in deep-cut applications.
