Description
The AC300 is a router bit adapter with split sleeve for Powermatic mortising machines, allowing standard shank router bits to be used in the Powermatic’s quill chuck. Router bit adapters expand the capability of a mortising machine beyond hollow chisel mortising: with a router bit installed, the machine can be used for pattern routing, dado cutting, and shaped mortise work by moving the workpiece across the spinning router bit under the quill. The AC300 is machine-specific — designed for Powermatic mortising machine models. The included split sleeve (see also AC303 for the standalone sleeve) clamps the router bit shank securely.
