Long T-Bushing, 1-1/8″ ID × 1-1/4″ OD

Description

The 1-1/8″ spindle bore appears on some European and specialty shapers. Cutters bored to the 1-1/4″ standard need a bushing to bridge the 1/8″ gap when running on these machines. Freeborn’s AP-91-018 long T-bushing handles that conversion with a body bored to 1-1/8″ and turned to 1-1/4″ OD. The long format extends the contact inside the cutter bore, which is important here because the bore-to-spindle step is small — a short bushing at this gap can leave the fit too shallow for confident radial support. The flanged face seats against the cutter to control axial position. Precision machined to Freeborn’s standard close tolerances.
