Raised Panel Insert Cutter — Profile 001, Roundover

Description

The FB-RPIC-001 shapes the raised center panel of a cabinet door with a profile 001 roundover — a convex arc transition from the panel field down to the flat border that slides into the door frame groove. Raised panel insert cutters run at 6″ diameter on a 1-1/4″ Pro-Line spindle, fed face up (CCW rotation), with an AP-90-048 rub bearing controlling cut depth at the panel border. The insert design allows carbide or T-Alloy cutting tips to be replaced independently of the head body, extending cutter life substantially beyond solid tooling. Profile 001 is the first roundover radius in Freeborn’s RPIC range — additional roundover radii (002, 003, 004, 013) cover different arc depths for matching to specific door design drawings or coordinating with CDIC door frame sets.
