Mini-Pro Rub Collar, 2-1/2″ OD

Description

The 2-1/2″ outside diameter handles wider raised panel and deeper door-edge profiles in the Mini-Pro lineup where more clearance between collar and cutter is needed. On a 3/4″ bore spindle, this collar allows larger multi-wing cutters to develop their full geometry against the guide surface without the collar crowding the profile area. Sealed ball-bearing construction keeps the collar free-spinning through extended runs on larger tooling, where the bearing load is higher. Freeborn machines these collars to close bore tolerances for consistent spindle fit and low runout — the same precision that makes the smaller collar sizes reliable carries through to this larger end of the Mini-Pro range. Swapping from a smaller OD to the 2-1/2″ collar adjusts cut depth without fence movement, preserving the rest of the setup.
