The SCH-QC-DIS-350mm-D is a 350mm Schmidt Dispozablade double-edged disposable planer knife for machines with 350mm planing capacity. At 350mm, this is a wide production Dispozablade for planers and moulders handling wide material. Dispozablade’s no-sharpening approach simplifies knife maintenance at all production widths: install, run, flip for the second edge, replace and recycle. No grinding service or grinding equipment needed at any point in the knife’s life cycle. Double-edged construction provides two cutting surfaces per knife. HSS material for standard production in softwood and mixed-species material. Wide-format Dispozablade knives suit production operations where in-house grinding of wide knives is not feasible, where grinding service turnaround time would interrupt production schedules, or where the operational simplicity of a disposable knife system is preferred over a regrinding maintenance program.
