The SCH-QC-DIS-200mm-D is a 200mm Schmidt Dispozablade double-edged disposable planer knife for machines with 200mm planing width. Dispozablade knives are engineered for fast knife changes with no sharpening: seat the knife in the compatible planer head, run until the edge dulls, flip for the second cutting edge, and replace when both are spent. The knife is recyclable at end of service. No grinding equipment, no grinding service, and no regrinding downtime are required — knife change is the entirety of the maintenance cycle. The 200mm length fits the head capacity of 200mm-width planer and moulder machines. HSS material provides good edge life for standard softwood and mixed-species production at this blade dimension. Dispozablade’s fast-change design is especially productive in shops running diverse material where blade condition must be monitored closely and changed quickly when the edge fails.
