The Schmidt WM300 is a finished M2 high-speed steel chair rail and casing profile knife at 3-1/2″ height and 5/16″ width. The narrow 5/16-inch profile width at 3-1/2 inches tall is characteristic of a fluted, reeded, or beaded detail element used within larger chair rail assemblies or as a standalone casing accent. Chair rail and casing knives in this profile series span a range of architectural trim styles from traditional colonial to transitional profiles. Available in Corrugated 60° back for use in 60° corrugated moulder heads and in Williams & Hussey back format for W&H moulder and matcher machines. Confirm profile geometry from the Schmidt catalog — multiple narrow-profile knives in this series share similar dimensions, so verify the WM300 cross-section matches the required chair rail component before running production stock.
