The Schmidt WM297 is a finished M2 high-speed steel chair rail and casing profile knife ground to 3-1/2″ H × 1-7/8″ W × 5/16″ thick. Chair rail and casing profiles represent some of the highest-volume moulding production in residential and commercial millwork — chair rail at 32 to 36 inches above the floor as a wall divider and impact guard, and door and window casings as the primary visible interior trim at every opening. At 3-1/2 inches of profile height and 1-7/8 inches wide, the WM297 is sized for standard interior trim specifications.
