Schmidt Bead & Bullnose Profile Knife — WM148

Description

The Schmidt WM148 is a finished M2 high-speed steel bead and bullnose profile knife ground to 1″ H × 1-9/16″ W × 5/16″ thick. Bead and bullnose profiles are among the most widely used moulding shapes in architectural millwork — appearing on window casings, base caps, cabinet face frames, furniture edges, and decorative moulding stock. At 1 inches of profile height and 1-9/16 inches wide, the WM148 produces a proportional bead or convex edge profile suited to medium-scale moulding and casework applications. Available in Corrugated 60° back for use in 60° corrugated moulder heads and in Williams & Hussey back format for W&H moulder equipment. The finished, ground M2 HSS knife installs directly in the head without additional grinding, delivering accurate profile geometry from the first production pass. Select back type to match the moulder head installed in the machine.
