Description
The GW345C is a narrow-profile copper-clad Borazon (CBN) grinding wheel for precision moulder knife profiling on the Weinig Rondamat — at 1mm width, it is the narrowest wheel in the GW345C series, designed for producing tight, precise profile elements where a wider wheel would overcut adjacent features. The 0.5mm radius on the wheel edge allows it to track tight inside curves and produce clean profile transitions between adjacent elements. 5mm Borazon depth provides multiple dressing cycles before wheel replacement. At 120 grit, GW345C is suited to profiling and semi-finishing passes rather than rough stock removal. CBN super-abrasive grinds HSS knife steel with significantly less heat generation than vitrified aluminum oxide, reducing the risk of thermal softening at the knife edge and extending knife service life. Fits Weinig Rondamat metric wheel format: 60mm bore, 8” diameter. See GW346C for 4mm width and GW343C for 2mm radius face.
