5mm x 70mm Carbide Tipped Boring Bit — 60° Point, Left-Hand

Description

The BBT057L is a carbide tipped boring bit — 5mm diameter, 70mm overall length, 60-degree tip angle — in left-hand rotation. The 70mm length provides extra reach over the standard 57mm (BBT055L) for boring into thicker panels, for machines with longer tool-holder clearance requirements, or when the depth of the bored hole requires more bit length above the work surface. Used on CNC multi-spindle boring machines for cabinet panel components — alternated with right-hand bits to balance cutting forces.
