Description

The AC660 is a 4-pack of small diamond honing cones — 1/8-inch narrow end by 3/8-inch wide end — for sharpening and touching up profile knife edges on shaper cutters and moulder knives in place. Diamond honing cones are used to remove the wire edge from a freshly ground knife, restore a dulled cutting edge between grinds, and maintain sharpness over the course of a production run without pulling the cutter off the machine. The conical shape allows the diamond surface to reach profile shapes that a flat stone cannot follow. Small-cone size suits narrow profile sections, fine detail areas, and the inner corners of complex profiles. Use at low speed against the knife face with light pressure.
