Centrolock 240mm Replacement Knife — HSS or Carbide

Description

The SCH-QC-CEN-240mm-S is a 240mm replacement knife for Centrolock-style constant-diameter planer and moulder heads. The 240mm length fits production moulders and planers with 240mm bed width — a standard wide-production dimension in European architectural and furniture moulding. At this width, the Centrolock no-reset advantage pays off in both material accuracy (consistent dimension across production runs without periodic re-calibration) and downtime reduction (knife change without spindle height adjustment). Available in HSS for softwood-dominated production where in-house regrinding capacity exists, or carbide for hardwood-heavy production where extended knife intervals reduce grinding service demand and maintain edge quality through demanding material. HSS is appropriate for standard pine and spruce moulding; carbide suits oak, beech, walnut, and abrasive MDF/particleboard runs. The 240mm knife must match the head length installed in the machine.
