Description

The Schmidt DY45 is a finished M2 high-speed steel crown moulding profile knife ground to 6″ H × 1-7/8″ W × 5/16″ thick. At 6 inches of profile height, the DY45 is among the largest single-knife crown profiles in the Schmidt line — suited to large-scale traditional or classical architectural crown and cornice work where a full 6-inch profile height is required in a single pass. Crown moulding at this scale is used in high-ceiling residential and commercial interiors and institutional millwork where oversized cornice profiles define the design character. Available in Corrugated 60° back for 60° corrugated moulder heads and Williams & Hussey back format for W&H equipment. Ground M2 HSS — installs directly in the head, ready to run.
