Description

The IG664 is a 160mm diameter adjustable groover with 1-1/4 in. bore that cuts variable-width grooves from 12.5mm to 24mm without a tool change. The 12.5mm-24mm range covers wide groove and dado work — shelf dado joints, wide spline slots for structural panel assembly, wide drawer bottom grooves, and track dadoes for sliding panel hardware in cabinet and furniture manufacturing. This groove width range overlaps with the IG662 upper limit at 15mm, providing additional coverage into the wide-dado range where the IG662 cannot reach. At 160mm diameter, the IG664 provides the cutting radius needed to reach full groove depth in a single pass at these wider groove widths. Adjustable groove width eliminates the need to stock dedicated fixed-width dado heads across the 12.5-24mm range, consolidating tooling for shops cutting variable-width dadoes. Confirm the cutter position is locked at the target groove width before production.
