Description

The INKS415 provides a box of 10 solid carbide 15 x 15 x 2.5mm square 4-sided reversible inserts for Schmidt indexable insert heads. Four-sided reversible inserts present four cutting edges per insert — when one edge dulls, the insert is rotated 90 degrees in the seat to expose a fresh edge, and the process repeats until all four edges are used. This extends the value of each insert significantly compared to single-edge inserts, reducing the per-cut tooling cost in high-volume insert tooling operations. At 15 x 15 x 2.5mm, the INKS415 is a common insert geometry for profiling heads, grooving heads, and material removal cutters where carbide insert indexing is used to avoid regrinding downtime. Sold in boxes of 10 to support continuous production runs. Confirm compatibility with the head body’s insert seat geometry and Torx screw size (T20, use INKS415TW wrench) before ordering.
