1/4 Ct Single Point Diamond Dresser — Red Cap, Weinig Rondamat 930-960

Description

The AC902 is a single point diamond dresser for truing and conditioning grinding wheels on Weinig Rondamat moulder knife grinders — specifically the 930 through 960 series. The Red Cap designation identifies the shank configuration (5/16” x 1-1/2”) used on the Rondamat 930, 934, 950, and 960 grinder models. Diamond wheel dressers serve two functions in moulder knife grinding: they restore a grinding wheel’s flat, true face when it has glazed or loaded with swarf, and they refresh the abrasive surface to maintain cutting efficiency. A properly dressed wheel cuts faster, runs cooler, and produces a better surface finish on the knife than a glazed or uneven wheel. At 1/4 carat, the AC902 provides a good single point tip size for general wheel dressing work.
