Description

The AC903 is a single point diamond wheel dresser in the threaded shank configuration (5/16” x 1-1/2”) for Weinig Rondamat moulder knife grinder models 925, 934N, 950, and 960. The threaded shank secures the dresser positively in the grinder’s dresser mount, ensuring consistent positioning during the dressing stroke. Single point diamond dressers are used to true grinding wheels that have glazed, loaded, or become uneven — restoring the wheel face to a flat, sharp, consistent surface that cuts efficiently and produces a clean surface on the knife being ground. Wheel dressing is a regular maintenance task in production moulder knife grinding: a glazed wheel generates more heat and produces inferior edge quality. The 1/4 carat single point diamond in AC903 is sized for general wheel dressing on 8” and 225mm wheels. Verify the mount configuration is threaded (not plain shank) on your machine before ordering — the threaded AC903 is not interchangeable with the Red Cap AC902 plain shank version.
