Description

The MH462 is a 137mm OD, 100mm cut length, 1-13/16 in. bore, 4-pocket corrugated back knife head with 22° hook for metric-specification industrial production moulders. The 100mm (approximately 4 in.) knife seat is the workhorse CEL in the MH46x series — covering door casing, base moulding, and medium crown profiles in European architectural millwork and furniture production at the 137mm head OD. The 22° hook angle provides efficient chip clearance in the mixed hardwood and softwood moulding runs common in European production environments. Four-pocket geometry delivers improved surface finish and higher feed rates than 2-pocket heads at the same CEL and OD, making the MH462 the preferred choice where production throughput and surface quality both matter. The 1-13/16 in. bore suits the industrial spindle specification found on 137mm-class moulder equipment. The MH4622 is the 2-pocket equivalent at 100mm. Knives sold separately.
