The MH103P6 is a 4 in. OD, 4 in. cut length, 1-1/4 in. bore, 4-pocket corrugated back knife head with 20° hook angle. The 4-pocket design at 4 in. CEL suits production lines running tall architectural profiles — full crown moulding, large door casing, and decorative millwork components — where the four-knife geometry delivers smoother surface finish and higher achievable feed rates than a 2-pocket head at the same CEL. Corrugated back knife locking in all four seats maintains consistent profile geometry and prevents knife shifting under the cutting forces of continuous production runs. The 20° hook angle suits softwood and mixed-species moulding. Four-pocket heads at 4 in. CEL carry significant knife mass — knives must be ground to matched weight and profile within tolerance before mounting, and balance must be verified before operating at production speed. In the MH10xP6 series, the MH103P6 is the 4 in. CEL 4-pocket option. Knives sold separately.
