The Schmidt IR925U2 is a 2-1/2-inch 2-wing upcut spiral spoilboard cutter for CNC routers, 1/2″ shank. Spoilboard cutters flatten and resurface the sacrificial MDF or particleboard table surface between production cycles, restoring a level reference plane for accurate hold-down and consistent part thickness. Upcut geometry pulls chips clear of the cut zone, improving chip evacuation. Solid carbide construction delivers the wear resistance needed for repeated spoilboard resurfacing passes across abrasive MDF. The 2-wing geometry balances cutting efficiency and surface quality — more wings produce a finer finish; fewer wings allow faster feed rates. Compatible with CNC routers using a 1/2-inch collet. Run at recommended feeds and speeds for MDF and particleboard to maximize cutter life and surface flatness.
