The BBT055R is a carbide tipped boring bit — 5mm diameter, 57mm overall length, 60-degree tip angle — in right-hand rotation. Right-hand boring bits rotate clockwise (viewed from the shank) and are used alternately with left-hand bits across the boring head of a CNC multi-spindle boring machine, balancing the lateral forces generated when boring multiple holes simultaneously in cabinet panel components. The 60-degree tip is standard for boring into melamine-faced panel products — the angle provides clean entry without face layer tear-out. 5mm diameter bores the standard shelf pin holes and Rafix/minifix connector holes common in European-style cabinet construction.
