Description

The QC602CC is the Innovator II quick-change cutterhead body — 6-inch cutting circle, 1-1/4-inch bore, counter-clockwise rotation. The Innovator II is the larger and more capable of the two Schmidt Innovator cutterhead bodies, designed for production shapers with 1-1/4-inch spindle bore. The 6-inch diameter provides more mass and a larger cutting circle than the Innovator Jr (QC601), appropriate for heavier production raised panel work in hardwood. In the Innovator system, corrugated back and Schure-Lock knife sets (QC100-105 for 3/4-inch panel profiles, QC200-205 for 5/8-inch profiles, QC300 for straight knives) drop into the cutterhead and lock without height adjustment, re-establishing the profile on every knife change.
