Description
Large-format table saws and sliding panel saws running 12 in. blades need a rip blade matched to the saw’s capacity and the demands of production ripping in hardwood and solid lumber. This 24-tooth STG rip blade on a 1 in. bore handles those cuts. Straight top grind geometry at 24 teeth excels at long-grain material removal — the flat-topped teeth take clean full-depth bites in solid hardwood with minimal side-load on the kerf walls, maintaining fast feed rates through thick stock without binding or burning. At 24 teeth on 12 in., gullet volume is substantial enough to clear the chip load from heavy ripping in dense hardwood like maple and oak at production feed rates without the blade packing. A laser-cut low noise plate stabilizes the larger 12 in. plate under sustained rip cut engagement, damping the resonance that builds up during long-grain cuts in heavy material and reducing vibration transfer to the fence. The 1 in. bore fits standard 12 in. cabinet saws and sliding table saws. Carbide tips are ground to STG geometry and hold their edge through production-scale ripping in domestic hardwoods.
