Description

The FB-LM-PL-040 is the third and largest cove profile in Freeborn’s Pro-Line lock-mitre series — a concave cove accent on the visible corner face with a different proportion from profiles 020 and 030. The three cove lock-mitre profiles (020, 030, 040) cover a range of cove widths or depths for matching specific design specifications at the mitre corner; verify profile 040 against Freeborn’s lock-mitre profile catalog to confirm the cove proportion and how it relates to the other two cove options. Profile 040 is Pro-Line only — no Mini-Pro counterpart is available in this cove variant. Like all lock-mitre cutters, it forms a 45° mitre and interlocking tongue-and-groove in a single pass, with the tongue holding the corner in self-aligning registration during glue-up. Used for furniture carcasses, architectural woodwork, and decorative box construction where a larger cove face proportion is specified. 1-1/4″ bore, 6″ OD, 3-wing, CCW.
