Description

The FB-LM-PL-020 is the Pro-Line cove lock-mitre cutter, profile 020, for Freeborn’s 1-1/4″ bore spindle — forming a self-aligning interlocking mitre corner with a concave cove accent on the visible face of the assembled joint. The cove creates a shadow line at the corner that reads as traditional furniture or millwork detail. Profile 020 is one of three cove variants in the lock-mitre range (020, 030, 040); each cove profile has a different proportion — verify profile 020 against Freeborn’s catalog to confirm the cove character before ordering. The self-aligning tongue-and-groove interlock holds the 45° mitre in registration during glue-up without fixturing jigs. 1-1/4″ bore, 6″ OD — the 6″ OD is non-standard; verify your shaper’s maximum cutter diameter capacity before ordering. MC-68-020 is the Mini-Pro (3/4″ bore) version of this profile. Profile 030 and 040 are also available in Pro-Line for different cove proportions at the corner face.
