Description
The FB-LM-PL-001 cuts a lock-mitre corner joint on the Freeborn Pro-Line 1-1/4″ bore spindle — the 45° mitre angle and interlocking tongue-and-groove are machined in a single pass, producing a self-aligning corner that holds in registration during glue-up without elaborate clamping fixtures. Profile 001 delivers a smooth roundover on the visible corner face — clean and undecorated, making it the most universal profile in the Pro-Line lock-mitre range. The 6″ OD is notably larger than the standard 4″ Pro-Line diameter: lock-mitre geometry requires a larger cutting circle to fully form the tongue and mitre on the workpiece thickness in one pass. This is a spec to verify against your shaper’s maximum cutter diameter capacity before ordering. Used for hardwood boxes, cabinet carcasses, pilasters, architectural columns, and frame corners where a strong, self-registering mitre is required. 1-1/4″ bore, 6″ OD, 3-wing, CCW. MC-68-001 is the Mini-Pro (3/4″ bore, 2-15/16″ OD) counterpart.
