Description
The FB-DL-PL-001 is the Pro-Line drawer-lock cutter for Freeborn’s 1-1/4″ bore spindle — machining the interlocking joint that connects a drawer front to its sides in the profile 001 geometry. One reversible cutter handles both halves of the interlocking joint in a single setup. The Pro-Line drawer-lock cutter runs at 5″ OD, larger than the standard 4″ Pro-Line diameter, because the drawer-lock geometry requires a cutting circle proportioned to the joint depth and drawer stock thickness at this bore size. Profile 001 is one of two drawer-lock geometries in the Pro-Line series; verify it against your drawer stock thickness and Freeborn’s specifications before ordering — profile 002 (FB-DL-PL-002) covers the alternate proportion. MC-69-001 is the Mini-Pro (3/4″ bore, 2-5/16″ OD) counterpart for lighter-duty machines. Drawer-lock joints are widely used for production cabinet drawer boxes in solid wood, MDF, and plywood where a stronger-than-dado joint is needed at the drawer front. 1-1/4″ bore, 5″ OD, 3-wing, CCW.
