Description

The MC-59-040 is the largest cove profile in the Freeborn Mini-Pro V-paneling range — profile 040 produces the deepest or widest concave hollow seam at board joints in the assembled panel, providing the most pronounced shadow line of the three cove options (020, 030, 040) available in the Mini-Pro series. Choose profile 040 when a more visually prominent cove seam is specified; verify the exact cove proportion against Freeborn’s V-paneling profile catalog to confirm it matches the design drawing. Like all V-paneling cutters, it machines the tongue-and-groove joint and the visible face seam profile in a single shaper pass. Runs with the AM-90-035 rub bearing for depth-of-cut control on the Mini-Pro 3/4″ bore spindle. 3/4″ bore, 2-15/16″ OD, 3-wing, CCW, carbide. FB-VP-PL-040 is the matching Pro-Line (1-1/4″ bore, 4″ OD, AP-90-052 bearing) version. The Pro-Line range additionally includes profiles 070 (a cove variant available only in Pro-Line).
