Description

The MC-71-016 eases both faces of a workpiece edge with a concave cove arc profile in a single shaper pass — the first of three cove double-easing profiles in the MC-71 series (016, 020, 024). Cove easing produces a concave hollow transition at both workpiece faces rather than the convex arc of a roundover, giving the eased edge a more decorative, period character suited to traditional furniture, formal millwork, and architectural woodwork where cove edge detailing is specified. The expandable cutter adjusts to different stock thicknesses. Mini-Pro 3/4″ bore, 2-3/16″ minor diameter, 3-wing, CCW, carbide. Pro-Line counterpart is FB-EA-PL-016 (1-1/4″ bore).
