Description

The MC-65-005 cuts a profile 005 concave cove at a workpiece corner or edge — the cove profile in Freeborn’s MC-65 Mini-Pro corner rounding / cove series. Where corner-rounding cutters produce a convex radius at a corner, a cove cutter produces a concave hollow — used for decorative furniture edge channels, architectural cove profiles, and millwork detailing where a concave arc at the corner or edge is specified rather than a convex radius. Profile 005 in the MC-65 series is the standard (non-R) cove profile; the FB-CR-PL-005 is the Pro-Line counterpart at 1-1/4″ bore. 3/4″ bore, 2-15/16″ OD, 3-wing, CCW, carbide.
