Description

The FB-CDIC-250-3pc cuts Freeborn’s profile 250 bevel at 1/2″ depth of pattern — a deeper angled chamfer than the standard-depth 050 bevel, producing a more prominent geometric shadow line on stile faces. The extra relief gives the bevel a stronger, more architecturally assertive character suited to contemporary cabinetry where clean angles and pronounced shadow lines are the design intent. The 3-piece Multi-Profile configuration combines shimmed cope adjustment with Multi-Profile body flexibility: cope depth is independently tunable for variable-batch tolerance, and the head bodies accept other compatible CDIC insert profiles. Profile 250 is the sole deep-pattern bevel in the 200-series — the standard-depth bevel range is covered by profiles 050, 055, and 060. 1-1/4″ bore, 4-1/2″ OD, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, for 3/4″ to 7/8″ door stock. Carbide or T-Alloy inserts available.
