Description

The CT400E5 is a 9.44-inch (240mm) carbide-tipped corrugated-back knife bar, 1-1/2 wide and 5/16 thick. Pre-cut to 240mm, it sizes directly to metric machine head widths calling for a 240mm piece — no cutting down from 25-inch bar stock. The 60° corrugated back interlocks with corrugated-back heads for positive knife retention. Carbide tipping extends edge life in hardwood, abrasive manufactured board, and high-volume production compared to solid HSS. Diamond grinding required for resharpening. 5/16 thickness and 1-1/2 knife height must match the head slot specification.
