Description

The AC504 is a color-coded plastic shim set for 3/4-inch bore stackable cutter systems — 48 pieces in a clear plastic box, covering eight shim thicknesses from .003 inch to .030 inch. Thin plastic shims are used in stacked shaper cutter setups to make micro-adjustments to the height of individual cutter elements when the standard spacers in the AC208 series produce a gap that is close but not exact. The color-coding identifies each thickness at a glance without measuring, so the correct shim can be selected quickly during setup. With 48 pieces across 8 sizes, the set provides enough quantity for multiple machines and setups without running out of the most-used thicknesses.
