Description

The AC814 is a 1000-pack of space balls — hollow rubber spheres, 3/16-inch diameter — used as spacers between cutter heads and accessories in stacked shaper tooling setups. Space balls fill the gap between adjacent cutter elements on the shaper spindle, compressing slightly to take up remaining clearance after steel spacers are stacked to the approximate height. Their compliance allows them to fill irregular gaps without the precision fitting required of steel spacers, and they prevent direct metal-to-metal contact between adjacent cutters.
