Description

The WC162 is a 6-wing carbide-tipped straight-top groover — 6-inch OD, 3/8-inch kerf width, and 1-1/4-inch bore. Six wings at 6-inch diameter provide excellent surface quality in the groove floor for 3/8-inch slot applications: shelf dadoes in case furniture and cabinets, 3/8-inch panel grooves in frame-and-panel work, and loose spline joinery. The 6-inch OD contributes rotational mass that smooths out cut, reduces chatter on long grain runs, and maintains kerf consistency through harder material transitions.
