The SCH-QC-DIS-360mm-D is a 360mm Schmidt Dispozablade double-edged disposable planer knife for machines with 360mm planing capacity. The 360mm length covers wide-production planer and moulder configurations at 360mm bed width. Dispozablade operation is consistent across all lengths: install the knife, run production until the edge dulls, flip for the second cutting face, then replace and recycle the blade. No sharpening. No grinding equipment. Double-edged design doubles service intervals before replacement. HSS material for standard softwood and mixed-species production. At 360mm, wide knife maintenance using a disposable system eliminates the complications of wide-knife regrinding — surface flatness maintenance, grinding equipment capacity, and service cost all scale with knife width, so the Dispozablade model becomes increasingly practical as knife width increases.
