Description

The ST401A is a 2-inch S-Alloy-tipped corrugated-back knife bar, 1-3/4 wide and 5/16 thick. Pre-cut to 2 inches, it sizes directly to individual knife blanks or head widths calling for a 2-inch piece — no cutting down from 25-inch bar stock. The 60° corrugated back interlocks with corrugated-back heads for positive knife retention. S-Alloy tipping is tougher and more shock-resistant than carbide, suited to softer woods and interrupted cuts, and it resharpens on standard grinding equipment without diamond wheels. 5/16 thickness and 1-3/4 knife height must match the head slot specification.
