85mm Rebating Cutter, 50mm Width, 1-1/4 in. Bore

Description

The IS58085 is an 85mm diameter rebating cutter with 50mm body width and 1-1/4 in. bore, designed for producing rabbets, steps, and shoulder profiles on production shapers and European spindle moulders. Rebating cutters produce the recessed ledge profiles used in door and window glazing rebates, cabinet back panel rabbets, drawer bottom grooves with shoulder, and stepped joinery profiles in solid wood and MDF. The 85mm OD provides a modest diameter suited to light rebating and shallow rabbet work where a larger-diameter head would be unnecessarily heavy. The 50mm body width is a standard European spindle moulder dimension that allows heads to be stacked for wider rebate profiles when multiple IS58 heads are used together on the spindle. The 1-1/4 in. bore fits standard production shaper and spindle moulder spindles. IS58-series rebating heads use the IS58201 gib (Gib-80) as the insert clamping component — order separately.
