Description

The QC100CC is a 3-piece set of corrugated back high-speed steel panel raising knives for the Schmidt Innovator quick-change cutterhead — Profile 0, sized for 3/4-inch thick raised panel stock, counter-clockwise spindle rotation. The Innovator system uses quick-change knife sets in the Innovator Jr (QC601, 3/4-inch bore) or Innovator II (QC602, 1-1/4-inch bore) cutterhead bodies to produce raised panel profiles in solid wood. Each knife set in the QC100-105 series corresponds to a distinct raised panel profile shape (profiles 0 through 5); the QC100 knives produce Profile 0. Contact Schmidt for the Innovator profile chart to confirm which profile number matches the panel design being produced. Corrugated back knives lock mechanically into the cutterhead’s gripping surface. Counter-clockwise rotation matches the standard US shaper spindle. For the CW version, see QC100CW.
