ER25 Precision Collet — 1/8″

Description

The Schmidt TE0422518 is a precision ER25 collet for 1/8-inch shank router bits and CNC tooling. ER-style collets clamp tool shanks through radial compression as the collet nut draws the collet into the taper bore of the tool holder. Each collet accepts a small range of shank diameters — not just the nominal listed size — with the spring-steel collet wall flexing to grip shanks within the collet’s acceptance range. Accepts shanks in the range .086 – .125″. This ER25 collet fits the ER25 collet chuck. ER25 handles shank sizes through 5/8″, widely used in CNC routing and machining center applications for mid-range tooling. Precision-ground to close runout tolerances for accurate, repeatable tool clamping. Replace collets that show wear, deformation, or loss of spring tension; a worn collet increases tool runout and reduces surface quality and tool life.
