Description
The MC-68-035 is the Roman ogee lock-mitre cutter for the Freeborn Mini-Pro 3/4″ bore spindle — the most formally decorative face profile in the Mini-Pro lock-mitre range. It forms the same self-aligning tongue-and-mitre corner joint as the other lock-mitre profiles but accents the visible corner face with a Roman ogee: the classic compound S-curve (convex fillet over concave cove) that is the signature of traditional architectural millwork, period furniture, and formal cabinetry. The Roman ogee creates depth and shadow at the assembled corner under raking light in a way that plain, bead, or simple cove faces cannot match. Use it for period-reproduction boxes, formal column assemblies, architectural door and window casings, and furniture carcasses where the corner detailing is a visible design element. 3/4″ bore, 2-15/16″ OD, 3-wing, CCW, carbide. FB-LM-PL-035 is the matching Pro-Line (1-1/4″ bore, 6″ OD) version.
