Description

The FB-LM-PL-015 is the Pro-Line double-bead (reeded) lock-mitre cutter from Freeborn — forming the self-aligning tongue-and-mitre corner joint with a reeded parallel-bead decorative profile on the visible corner face. The reeded face character suits traditional column assemblies, period-style pilasters, formal furniture carcasses, and architectural woodwork where the mitre corner is a visible design element rather than a hidden joint. The tongue-and-groove interlock holds the mitre in registration during glue-up without fixturing — a production advantage over plain mitres that require wedge clamps or special jigs. 1-1/4″ bore, 6″ OD — the 6″ diameter is non-standard for Pro-Line cutters, required by the lock-mitre geometry to fully form the joint in one pass; verify the 6″ OD against your shaper’s maximum cutter diameter capacity before ordering. MC-68-015 is the Mini-Pro (3/4″ bore, 2-15/16″ OD) version of the same double-bead profile.
