Description

The MC-68-015 is the double-bead (reeded) lock-mitre cutter for the Freeborn Mini-Pro 3/4″ bore spindle. It forms the same interlocking tongue-and-mitre corner joint as profile 001 but adds a double-bead reeded profile on the visible corner face — the classic parallel-bead detail that reads as formal and architectural under raking light, traditionally associated with columns, pilasters, and period cabinet work. The self-aligning interlocking tongue holds the corner in registration during glue-up without fixturing. Profile 015 is the design choice when the visible mitre line needs to carry a traditional decorative accent rather than a clean undecorated surface. Use it for column and pilaster assemblies, period-style box construction, decorative cabinet carcasses, and architectural woodwork where the beaded corner detail is part of the design specification. 3/4″ bore, 2-15/16″ OD, 3-wing, CCW, carbide. FB-LM-PL-015 is the matching Pro-Line (1-1/4″ bore, 6″ OD) version.
